HOB ... SOUL FUNCTION ... DELBERT MCCLINTON

Hi, Well, gang, the "old lady" (ME) was invited to a concert at the House of Blues in North Myrtle Beach, SC this past weekend. As it turns out the opening band - SOUL FUNCTION was primed and more than up for getting the crowd in the moment of the music. They did a great job opening for Delbert McClinton. SOUL FUNCTION is a local band based in North Myrtle Beach ... but always excited about gigs in new places. This band brought a full house to "grooving" to their music; up, clapping, singing along and dancing for a solid forty-five minutes! I was there and "got my groove on", too! Needless to say, the crowd was primed for Delbert McClinton. He was good, but it seemed the crowd wanted more of SOUL FUNCTION. It was the best concert I have ever attended ... thanks to my daughter and her SO (significant other) who plays with SOUL FUNCTION, and the Band. A group of women tied together by family and friendship who stick by one another through life's trials and joys, using a background of humor.
